    • Sataygal...

Ok I accidentally bought the extra tickets by mistake... (Didn't read the website properly)

So anyway, I've asked the company and they said that I have to sell the tickets myself.

      The price is standard, $47 - adults & $35 - child.

The time and date can be changed. (No extra charges for 1st time change)

AND Corus Hotel is right beside KLCC. So getting around KL area is very easy.

      Still interested?

    • Hi, im bringing a group of 12 frens fr overseas 2 KL in dec.

i was about to book grassland as they stop rite in front of berjaya times square- which near to our hotel in bukit bintang area.

i tot i could get a gd bargain fr u, then i wont mind taking a cab fr KLCC to bukit bintang area (which cost more esp early in the mornin as the taxi there dun use meter anymore)

but since u sellin at standard rate then i think i'll pass.. thanks :D

    • sorry to hijack ur topic, but in reply to satay girl, u can actually consider making use of their local mrt to get frm klcc to bukit bingtang area. but nid to transfer from train to LRT la bukit bintrang area used the LRT one. so its lyk going from jurong east to bukit panjang la. take to chua chu kang change lrt. lyk tht its cheaper compared to taxi.

    • hi yes, i did think abt using the lrt but then ...

      1. think the coach will arrive in kl ard 5am and the lrt only open at 6am earliest... worst if they arrive even earlier... will b stil dark when reach there..

      2. my groups mostly aunties... 40-50yo..., so askin them to wait, walk, etc will be a bit inconvenient nt include their luggages,etc...

      3. somemore, i only use the lrt in kl once..., nt really sure about transfering from KLCC station 2 bukit bintang/imbi station.., scared i lead them wrongly also...

    • sataygal,

Why take the coach at night? isn't it better to take in the morning then at least you won't waste the day?

by right, you can take Kelana Jaya Line to KL Sentral and change to Monorel outside KL Sentral, but if you know the way, you can walk from KLCC to Bt Bintang, if you know the way, though a group of ladies under darkness is not very safe....

anyway, i thought you can only check into the hotel at 12pm right?

So if you arrive early in the morning what is there to do?

If you take the 7.30am bus at least you arrive at 12.30pm and can start your plans straightaway...

u have to get out of the station. as we know, KL's LRTs are not integrated. :(

u'll descend from platform L3 to concourse L2, then turn right and go down to street L1, make a u-turn and u can see the station at a distance.

    • You can try Mutiara Damansara where The Curve, Cathay Cineleisure Damansara and SEA's biggest IKEA are at, but getting to that area is not easy without a car. Meter fare from KL to Damansara is RM12. But when coming out, taxis at IKEA will charge a ridiculous fare of RM17 just for the 10-minute ride out to the nearest LRT station at Kelana Jaya.

But you can choose to wait for the IKEA shuttle to and from Kelana Jaya LRT if you plan your journey well.
      From bus stop opposite Kelana Jaya LRT Station to Ikano Power Center: 9.00am, 10.00am, 11.30am, 1.00pm, 3.00pm, 4.30pm, 5,30pm, 7.00pm, 8.00pm and 9.30pm

      From Ikano Power Center to Kelana Jaya LRT Station: 9.30am, 11.00am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm, 4.00pm, 5.00pm, 6.30pm, 7.30pm, 9.00pm and 10.30pm

The latest entrant to Bukit Bintang is Pavilion KL, but it will feel very much like a Singaporean mall. Upmarket goods which you can find in Paragon will be there, but the basement boasts familiar fare like Food Republic, J.CO Donuts, M.O.F. Izakaya, Pepper Lunch and Crystal Jade etc. Sakae is also there at Level 5.

Recently I discovered the Japanese enclave of restaurants, right behind Pavilion KL on the way to KLCC, at Wisma Cosway.

Midvalley now has a new wing selling upmarket products too (emulating Pavilion KL) called The Court.

Other than that, there isn't anything new liao. Maybe you can try Berjaya Times Square at Imbi if you haven't gone there.

    • Yeah Damansara is a nice place to go... But a bit inconvenient if no car... But The Curve & Cineleisure are for the younger generation la...

Pavilion is more like the high-end shopping area... Like Singapore's Paragon la...

Umm I find the Megamall small now... haha... probably been there too many times...

Have no idea where is One Utama though... Someone brought me there... ;) I know it's 2 shopping centres merged together or something like that...

1Utama is about 5 min from Curve. It's a bit more snazzier than Megamall. So you can probably go to 1U (yes, they have added a new wing which is equally as large as the old one) and then hop over to Curve / Cineleisure / IKEA. 1/2 day in 1U and the other 1/2 in Curve.

The usual lor. Across Puduraya got one Mac. Opposite got prata shop.

The IKEA is more similar to Tampines than Alexandra.... The stack of container goods are high...... but the draw is probably more on The Curve.

Damansara from Bintang should not exceed RM15.

Actually KL nothing much to do in the morning, it really depends on what you go there for in the first place.

One Utama is in Damansara also, halfway between Kelana Jaya LRT and Mutiara Damansara along the LDP expressway.

The tenancy rate of Berjaya TS has grew steadily and its upper floors are already occupied. But there's nothing to shop in KL considering the bargains and variety, but you can get cheap food and entertainment.

Ah... MAS. I'd fly AirAsia or Tiger to KLIA LCC-T and straight away go to MTB for the MAS flight... cos KL is getting very boring for me!
