Hey, you must have taken the last train, otherwise they will not announce these. Once I went for jjoyriding at a very late time and I take the last train back. Then the station will announce all kind of announcement.

I think he typo. Correct, the west bound train arriving at City Hall, when u cross the platform, is transferring to the north bound train toward Woodlands.

NEL announcement

Next station announcement: (same for both directions)

Next station, Dhoby Ghaut/Outram Park interchange. Passengers may alight and change(not transfer used in SMRT) to the North South Line/East West Line.

Upon reaching stations, no special announcement:

Dhoby Ghaut Station/Outram Park Station(they didnt use interchange here). Please mind the gap(same as other station).

Shouldn't it be Orchard, Yishun and Woodlands? Also, the announcement at Raffles Place fro EWL towards Pasir Ris goes like this:

Raffles Place Interchange. Passengers going towards Orchard, Yishun and Woodlands, please cross the platform and transfer to another train. Raffles Place Interchange.

Jurong East and Bukit Batok...in the direction of JE..

"This train is crossing over to the middle track soon. For your own safety, please hold on to the grabpoles or handgrips."

For the morning trains from NSL to EWL

"This train is terminating at Pasir Ris. Passenger going towards Lakeside, Chinese Garden or Boon Lay, please alight and board the train at platform A."
