      hopefully you won't have to be there very long and can go back to Singapore and do the things you like so much.

      Oz is a pretty nice place too isn't it?

      Yeah i definitely miss you guys...at least there was some form of entertainment back then....sadly even though this place was supposed to promise "wacky activities" it just doesn't seem to entice me at all

      What about take a holiday trip to the neighbouring country, NZ, for a break and enjoy the scenic country for a while?    Snowing in winter in nz.

      Awwww... poor fairlady! 

      I moved to Melbourne about 2.5 years ago and the first year and a half was extremely, extremely tough for me and I got very homesick at times too. 

      How long do you have to be in Australia for?  Are you here for studies?  I hope you have friends who can identify with your homesickness over here. 

      Most Singaporeans who have migrated here do feel homesick and depressed for the first year or so before they eventually settle in.  Afterall, Singapore is more vibrant and cosmopolitan but Australia has its own beauty too.  smile.png

      I hope you'll soon feel more settled.  I can bring you around a bit if you are in Melbourne.

      it's normal to feel homesick...

      but if it gets too bad or if this drags on for too long, thennnn........

      how long have u been there for...??
