You are hilarious man, seriously. She SHOWED that she wasn't interested in the seat. My whole point was she didnt wanted the seat, thats why I wasted giving it up. Even if the indian man didnt moved in, she still WOULDN'T take it.

What excuses? I don't get it, everyone seemed to have lots of "excuses" according to you. Why such a cynic?

And anyway, why do you make it sounds like I gave up my seat cos I wanna hit on her? Whats with standards and conversations and all? Sometimes no matter how "connecting" you think you are, people just arent interested. In reality, alot of things dont happen exactly like from an MTV of an Oasis' song.

Next time, ask before you give up the sit. The Indian man how old? If senior citizens then nevermind.

I wasnt angry la, just a little unhappy. In the end I stood all the way to my workplace for nothing.

Oh yea, after rereading your post, I suddenly realized I got similar experience before lolz.

I was in a very crowded MRT during the peak hour in the morning, then I saw this guy who has a broken leg still bandaged and he was trying to balance himself on his crutch. He was standing quite faraway from me, I can still see him but there were a lot of people between my seat and his. I couldn't understand how can those people sitting directly in front of him could stand not getting up and offering him his seat. The poor guy nearly fell and lost his footing when the MRT went through a rough part of the rail.

I was about to stand up to give my seat to him then this auntie in front of me like couldn't wait for me to stand up and get away and could see she definitely would take the seat instead of the poor guy with the broken leg...so in the end I decided to stay put >.< I felt very guilty though, but don't know how to alert him to take the seat leh.
