http://www.sgforums.com/forums/8/topics/317033 en-US 60 <p>Singapore bans two porn websites in symbolic move</p> <p><span class="">SINGAPORE</span> – Singapore has banned access to two pornographic websites in a “symbolic statement” of the country’s societal values, its media regulator said on Friday.</p> <p>The two sites, which the regulator declined to identify but local media named as YouPorn and RedTube, work in a similar fashion to popular video-sharing website YouTube. If porn is officially legal, then shops at orchard road and everywhere else will be selling porn mags, CDs, dvds, posters and etc.</p> <p>So simply put, I dont think the authorities care if you watch porn at home. But when porn become commercialised and available to kids everywhere as stated above, then they can use the "law" on porn to catch people who does it.</p> <p>So its actually not "illegal" but they just dont want porn to be as open as Rotiboy buns.
