u can set small time goals (going vegetarian for one week) or big time goals (save up for that car u really want). all this gives u sense of accomplishment and satisfaction, and that's what makes every bit of life interesting! i dont know what is my purpose in life..but being in LOVE definitely makes this world a whole lot more beautiful! ^^

depends on ur level of intimacy. if ur just friends, and she treat u like a friend, she may just say tell u straight. but if she's ur gf, she might have greater expectations of u to 'read her mind' and 'pacify her (when u dont even know what she wants)' bottomline is, u can never really know, so, the best is, just try to make her happy (: some gals like guys to pay more attention to them. some prefer guys showering gifts on them. u just have to try all the methods until one works..or some gals, u just give them time to cool down n they'll forget abt it (RARE)..gd luck!

get mutual friends to be present during the breakup. so in case she tries to harm herself, there can be more people to restrain her. also, preferably do it in a public place (but there is a risk of her creating a scene in public) and with her best friend around to console her. this is the best ur friend can do. other than that, dont reply to her msges or have any other form of contact, u'll only lead her on.
if she tries to do anything violent, ur friend may report the matter to the police for some kind of 'personal protection order' for bf/gfs.

Will any of these give gals the wrong idea that a guy is interested in her?

Both unsure about relationship.

quarrelling over the smallest of matters? like something that isnt even worth quarrelling about can snowball into shouting fits and cold wars?
if this happens constantly what does this mean? does it simply mean that one person has extremely bad temper? or does it mean that u dont love each other le? during courtship, the gal was like xiao mian yang (demure little sheep) then when become gf everything also wan to jump at u =(

Is that possible? I mean after years of relationship, she says that. Can someone love another yet cant stand his or her habits? Isnt love supposed to be noble enough to overlook everything? or should we all be practical n quit shouting at the people we love and part ways and just keep the happy memories? i mean, once we part, its lovers to strangers. there isnt such thing as lovers to friends....
